Ms. Poe is the Registrar of Powhatan
County. She reports that more than 12,650 Powhatan residents are registered
to vote in the November election thus far. If you have not registered
to vote, you may do so at her office or you may call her to get the
forms to register by mail. The registration deadline is 28 days
before an election.
Once registered, a voter needs to
register again if he or she moves to another district in the County or fails
to vote at least once in the four years following registration.
