Tags
Dog tags must be purchased in Powhatan County
for all dogs over 4 months of age. They go on sale each year on November
1st and expire the following year December 31st. Proof of the rabies
certificate is required in order to purchase any tag. This fee can be paid
in person or by mail. If paying by mail, please fill out the sample
application below and send a copy of the rabies certificate for each dog.
The fees listed below will be effective November 1, 2001.
