Mr. Grasewicz has been the Planning Director of Powhatan County for the past six years.  The Planning Department prepares the Comprehensive Plan for the future of the County, enforces land use regulations (zoning, subdivision, signs, erosion control), provides recommendations on development proposals, and assures proper design of business developments and residential subdivisions.

The Planning Department staff includes Senior Planner Ron Hachey, 598-5692, Zoning Administrator Jamie Timberlake, 598-5698, Land Disturbing/Zoning Inspector Shaun Reynolds, 598-5623, and the Department's Secretary, 598-5621.
