Macaroni and Cheese

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup macaroni (uncooked)

  • ½ cup butter

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1 ½ cup milk

 

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

  • 8 ounce swiss cheese

 

Cook macaroni until done.  Melt butter over low heat.  Stir into flour to form a smooth paste.  Add milk, salt, pepper, stirring constantly.  Cook until thickened.  Line greased pan sparingly with swiss cheese.  Place half of the drained macaroni in pan.  Layer with swiss cheese and half of sauce.  Pour rest of macaroni layer with swiss cheese and rest of sauce.  Bake 30 - 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
