Turkey or Chicken Stuffing Bake

 

Ingredients:

 

 Chicken or Turkey Mixture:

 
  • 1 package Stove Top stuffing mix (cornbread or chicken flavor)
  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • 1 ¼ cups very hot water
  • 1 egg beaten

 
  • 2 ½ cups diced chicken or turkey
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk

 
Combine hot water, butter, vegetable pack out of stuffing mix. Add stuffing crumbs and stir until moistened. Stir in egg and let stand 5 minutes. Use half stuffing mix and spread over greased 8 or 9 inch pan or dish. Spread chicken or turkey mixture over crumbs. Top with remainder of stuffing mix and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 – 15 minutes and serve.
