COVID-19 Vaccination updates- Powhatan County is part of a regional health district, the Chesterfield Health District, which represents Powhatan County, Chesterfield County, and the City of Colonial Heights. Powhatan has been running a series of clinics for both 1st and 2nd vaccinations in an effort to assist our Health District with the initial wave of group 1a and 1b vaccinations.
Effective Sunday 3/7/21, the County will only be managing clinics for our scheduled second vaccinations. The Chesterfield Health District will schedule and manage all future 1st vaccination clinics for Powhatan residents. If you desire a vaccination, you must register on the Virginia Health Department’s site and they will contact citizens when appointments become available. Please visit the Commonwealth’s registration site to either 1) Confirm that you are already registered or 2) Complete your registration for the vaccination.
