Board of Equalization Secretary

The County of Powhatan is currently recruiting for a part-time Secretary to the Board of Equalization. This is a temporary position with no County benefits, up to 40 hours per week, until May 2018.

This position will perform administrative support duties for the County’s external assessors and the Board of Equalization to include gathering data for and scheduling meetings, answering telephone inquiries, and filing.  Position requires excellent customer service and the ability to convey information to the public. 

Minimum requirements include 1-2 years of administrative experience, a high school diploma, Microsoft Excel experience, and demonstrated customer service ability including previous experience working with the public.
